After having visited the Christmas Markets in Bruges and Brussels, I decided to visit the one in my home town Antwerp where the Christmas Market is spread across the beautiful historic city centre. If you want to extend the Christmas Spirit for a bit longer, what are you waiting for? Go visit the Christmas Market in Antwerp! Most Christmas Markets in Belgium are open till the 6th of January 2013.

Sure, for the best views, you’ll want to be camping out a few hours in advance in the key spots but trust me, once that clock chimes it’ll be worth every second you spend queuing!
Every year from end November till beginning January Brussels transforms into a Winter Wonderland featuring a Christmas Market with more than 250 wooden chalets, a huge Christmas tree, an ice rink, the Ferris Wheel... Street activities and parades complete the unique atmosphere.
The grey backwater that was Dublin a few decades ago has clearly been transformed into a cosmopolitan European capital.
The city is definitely a worthy place to visit and the growing number of attractions shows that people are coming and enjoying their visit. Maui, also called the Valley Isle, is ranked on many voting lists as one of the Best Islands in the World. After visiting Maui in April 2012, I definitely agree with that.
